Make the following changes in Internet Explorer to prevent websites from accessing your clipboard text. The article explaining this threat can be found here
First Go to Tools menu in Internet Explorer and select Internet Options
Then select the security tab. Select Internet Icon and then click the Custom Level button
Then scroll down the settings till you reach the heading Allow paste operations via script and select Disable radio button
All though the above operation stops the threat it is not foolproof. So if you are dealing with some sensitive information then it is better to either discard the clipboard text or use a more secure browser like Firefox.
